Easter at Grandpa and GG's House

It's a late, but oh well!! :) On Easter Sunday, we got up and went to church. After church we headed over to Grandpa and GG's house (John's parents) for Easter dinner. When we got there, Jack got to hunt for more eggs.





Finally, the sun came out and the grass dried (for the most part). We made our way outside for some relaxing time.
Jack was too funny. For some reason, he did not want his feet touching the grass. He's never been like that before.

Easter Egg Hunt

Jack "participated" in his first Easter egg hunt today. He picked up one egg and played with it the rest of the time. A good friend of mine gave Jack two more to play with too! Here are some pictures from our time at the egg hunt.

Visiting the Fire Station

For those of you that do not know, John is transferring to a different fire station next week. Today is his last shift at his current station, so Jack and I went to visit him today (and bring him some things he forgot this morning). Here are some pictures of our visit.

Happy 11 Months Birthday Jack

First off... I have been having trouble uploading pictures and videos to the blog. I actually tried to upload pictures on Jack's 11 months birthday, but Firefox and Internet Explorer both kept crashing!! So here I am, several days later attempting to upload the picture again...

11 month!?!?!? Are you serious?!? I CANNOT believe that Jack will be 1 year old next month! That truly blows my mind. Many people told us that it flies by... but SERIOUSLY?!?!? It feels like warp speed.

What Jack is up to these days:

• Cruising with anything that moves! (toys, laundry baskets, his parents, etc. :)
• Standing without assistance
• Trying to walk
  
• Getting into EVERYTHING!
• Clapping his hands
• Had his first 24 hour stomach virus (NOT COOL!! Gave it to Daddy then to Momma)
• Bathing in the big tub
• Playing with the dogs through the storm door
• Getting more and more vocal every day (it actually sounds like he's trying to say words)
• Pointing at everything
  
• Loves being outside and actually cries when we bring him back inside
• Drinking out of his sippy cup like a champ... **fingers crossed for dropping the bottle all together next month**
• Dancing all the time
  
• Crawling faster and faster every day... it's crazy!
• Of course... I'm sure there is MUCH more! I just can't seem to remember when I sit down here!
  

Everybody Clap Your Hands!

Jack has decided to show us he knows how to clap his hands! He's so proud of himself! And of course, we are proud of him too!! I really can't believe he will be 11 months old next week. WOW!!

Video Update on Jack

Jack is really starting to practice walking. Here he is cruising with his toy that his Granddaddy and Nana gave him for Christmas. He is LOVING it, except when he runs into the wall or something that stops him from moving!!
