Spring Break

Since Charlie Mack decided that he did not want to be a spring break baby, we took advantage of hanging outside as much as possible. We also visited GG and Grandpa while Daddy worked. As I have told you guys before, Jack LOVES trucks. Including "woo trucks" (aka fire trucks)! So we made a trip to Daddy's station to see him as well. Here are some pictures of spring break 2011!

Jack is LOVING playing in the fire truck.

Time to drive the truck! I love the excitement in his face. :)

In other news, we are currently in the labor and delivery room at Texas Women's. We are hoping to get to meet Charlie Mack TODAY!! Since he passed his due date, we (with our doctor) decided to induce today. We were able to get in first thing this morning. We are VERY excited about meeting our other sweet boy! Update to come!

Soo....

Sooo... I said I was going to get better at updating the blog. I really want to blog, it's a matter of having the energy to blog when I have the time. So here I am... it's Sunday afternoon... John is working and Jack is napping. I could be napping too... HOWEVER I am taking the time to blog a little update on our sweet family. :)

Daddy and Jack took a trip to the Houston Livestock Show during the week. Jack LOVED all of the animals. He definitely enjoys being outside and seeing different types of animals.

Speaking of being outside... here is our Jack Attack playing at the park with his Daddy.

Besides playing outside and loving animals, Jack also loves playing with cars and legos. He is into stacking blocks or anything he can get to stack. He loves reading and singing songs. His favorite song right now is "Twinkle, Twinkle". He absolutely loves bath time and splashing water as much as possible. He has really started talking more and more lately. It surprises me how his language is developing. He seems so big. I can only imagine how much bigger he will feel when Charlie Mack finally decides to make his appearance.

Speaking of Charlie Mack....
I am almost 40 weeks pregnant. For those that might now remember or never knew, I had Jack at 38 weeks. So to almost be at 40 weeks, I think I am miserable. He is SO big!! However, I know several people who have stories of going to 42 weeks. I REALLY don't think I can make that. Last week when I went to the doctor I was still dilated to a 2 and no effacement at all. :/ Doctor pretty much said my cervix was not inducible. I am not sure how long she will let me go before she will induce. I go to the doctor again this Tuesday. If I've made some progress... maybe I can talk her into inducing Thursday (the due date) and we could have ourselves a St. Patty's Day baby!!

Quick Update

Since it's been months since I've blogged, I am going to update you all through pictures.

First off... we did camp out at Yellowstone National Park this summer. However all of those pictures are on the computer with the virus. We have yet to get rid of the virus. Anyone know anyone in the Cypress area that works on computers for a reasonable price? $200 GEEK SQUAD at Best Buy is NOT reasonable!!

With that said.... here is a quick picture update!
Jack's first trip to the zoo with his Daddy!

He loves animals!

First time at the deer lease! And... of course he LOVED it!

Reading at Ma's house over Thanksgiving break.
Loving on his Gam over Thanksgiving break.
Finally getting to meet his cousin Michael!
Jack obviously LOVED Santa this year.
Jack and his Aunt Holly before Christmas Eve Service.

Jack and Michael hanging out on Christmas day.
Who needs presents, when a box will do!

Christmas morning... Jack playing at his new table with his train that his Daddy made for him.

The Sucheckis on Christmas Eve. Notice the baby bump.

Here are some random iPhone photos that I found.

Hanging out at GG and Grandpa's house.
Jack loves brushing his hair and his teeth.
Jack at Logan's 1st birthday party in January.
Jack eating big boy food and "cheesing" up a storm.
Obviously not the best pic of me... BUT... as you can see Jack loves his baby brother right now. :)

WATCH OUT!! Look Who's Here!!

Yes... I know! It's been quite some time. I have all the excuses in the world to give you why I have not been blogging. Shall we?

1. Computer got a virus :( All of our pictures are on there.
2. Got pregnant with baby boy #2 (morning sickness/tired) <--- that really only counts for the 1st trimester.
3. I have a toddler to chase around, all while being pregnant (morning sickness/tired)
4. I am a career mom! (Still working as an Instructional Specialist. Started my own business as a Thirty-One Gifts Consultant- www.mythirtyone.com/KSuchecki Check it out!)
5. Our Internet goes out in the evenings (it's been doing this for months and we still haven't called about it-- pure procrastination)
6. Choose to spend time with family instead of at computer.
7. Choose to nap on the weekends while Jack naps instead of blogging on the computer.
8. Did I mention that our computer got a virus?!?!?

Ok... I could continue, but I'll spare you.

Now... with all those excuses, you may be asking yourself... "Why is Kari blogging now?"
Well...

1. Computer still has virus, but my amazing Hubsters got me a new computer for Christmas and I LOVE IT!!
2. I no longer have morning sickness, but I am pretty tired all the time.
3. Jack is napping right now.
4. We got a 3 day weekend because of the "snow"!!
5. It's not in the evening so our internet is still up and running.
6. John is working and Jack is napping so there's no family to spend this time with right now.
7. I slept GREAT last night, so I don't feel the need for a nap!
8. I LOVE MY MAC!! and... my husband has dropped a lot of hints about how I need to update the blog. Today the hint was, "Kari, you need to update the JKChronicles. It's been a while."

So here I am, back in action. At least for today, and as long as Jack naps!!

Training Him Early

Now... if I could only get him to fold them too!
